Octopure® prevents the growth of bacteria in fresh water reservoirs and pipes, this will also ensure that there is no development of odours. The silver ions penetrate the core of the micro-organism and bond to various parts of the cell, such as the DNA and RNA, cellular proteins and respiratory enzymes. This effectively immobilises the cell and causes it to die.
Octopure® will maintain the water for up to six months, and imparts no taste or odour. It can be dosed manually (10ml per 100 Liters) or if MCA compliance is required, then the new Octopure™ treatment system can be used.
